Per 7 CFR 210.12(d)(2), School Food Authorities must cooperate with Summer Food Service Program sponsors to distribute materials to inform families of the availability and location of free Summer Food Service Program meals for students when school is not in session. As best practice, school food authorities who do not participate in a summer feeding program should also notify the public that they will not be distributing summer meals.
Academy of Tucson will not be providing summer meals at our campuses, but please use the website listed here to locate free summer meals near you: AZ Health Zone. The mapper shows families where they can find free meals through the Summer Food Service Program.
